ClipQuiz ("we", "us", "our") operates the website clipquiz.jwonlabs.com and related services. We provide a free online quiz platform where users play and create image and crop guessing quizzes. Data controller contact: jwon9798@gmail.com Operator location: South Korea
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data: • Quiz content you create (title, description, images, answers, creator name) • Quiz play results (score, quiz ID, timestamp) • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5) We do not require account registration. You may use a nickname when creating quizzes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data to: • Operate and improve the quiz platform • Display percentile rankings and play counts • Store and display user-created quizzes • Measure site traffic and usage with Google Analytics 4 (with your consent where required) • Respond to support requests and content reports • Prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service Legal bases (GDPR): contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent (for analytics cookies).
4. Data Retention
User-created quizzes are stored until you request deletion or we remove them for policy violations. Quiz result data is retained for ranking statistics. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Cookie consent preferences are stored in your browser until you clear them.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies for site functionality. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-C24JK5CTF0) to understand page views, traffic sources, and how visitors use ClipQuiz. IP addresses are anonymized. Data is processed by Google according to their privacy policy. We implement Google Consent Mode. Until you choose "Accept All", analytics cookies remain denied. You can choose "Essential Only" in our cookie banner to decline analytics cookies. 6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: • Google Analytics 4 — website analytics • Cloudflare — website hosting and security • Supabase — database hosting (when configured) These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Children's Privacy
ClipQuiz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly. Users aged 13–17 should have parental consent.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States and European Union, where our hosting and analytics providers operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses and provider safeguards where applicable.
