Content Moderation Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
ClipQuiz uses automated systems to filter risky content at submission and after reports. No manual approval is required for publishing.
1. Instant Publishing
When you submit a quiz, our server runs automated checks (category, keywords, image URLs, crop settings). If everything passes, your quiz is published immediately and appears on the homepage. Failed checks return an error so you can fix and resubmit.
2. Automated Checks
On every submission we check: • Agreement to Terms and Community Guidelines • Blocked high-risk categories (music, movies, anime, memes) • Prohibited hate, harassment, and CSAM-related language • Trademark-heavy references (major brands, celebrities, franchises) • Valid https image URLs (no social media hotlinks) • Crop zoom within playable limits (18%–75%)
3. Editorial Seed Content
Quizzes created by the ClipQuiz team use public-domain images, Wikimedia Commons media, country flags, and NASA imagery. These are curated separately from user submissions.
4. Automated Report Handling
When users report a quiz: • Copyright reports: quiz may be hidden from the homepage after 1 report • Other reports: hidden after 3 reports • Deleted after 5 reports No manual review is required. Direct quiz links may still work until deletion.
5. Repeat Violations
Users who repeatedly submit infringing or harmful content may have quizzes auto-deleted when report thresholds are reached.
6. Appeals
If you believe your quiz was hidden or removed in error, email jwon9798@gmail.com with the quiz title and explanation.
7. How This Compares
Like Machugi.io and similar platforms, ClipQuiz publishes passing quizzes immediately and relies on automated filters plus user reports for enforcement. ClipQuiz adds stricter upfront filters (blocked categories, trademark checks) before content goes live.
